Great app for lifting

Great, down-to-business, no frills app. None of the features are unnecessary and all of which are useful for tracking your progress. Enjoyable, clean interface. Useful rest timer.

The Best One!

Ive tried a lot of lifting apps and this one is the best overall! Everything you need, nothing you dont. The developers are constantly making a good app better and actually listen when you make suggestions. When I was looking for an app for journaling workouts, it is surprising how many bad / hard to use apps are out there. Well this isnt one of those. It is intuitive and informative without being bloated.

Changed my workout world

I have never written a review in 8 years of owning iOS devices. This app changed that. In over 20 years of lifting I never logged what I did at the gym. I just remembered my previous workouts. With this app i now keep track of everything I do in a workout. The app is easy to use and provides excellent programs that can be customized to suit your needs. Illustrations on equipment and body parts are both detailed and informative. This has been the best $2.99 i ever spent on an app and in the month and a bit that Ive used it the resulting gains are the benefit of the app. Must have for a lifter wether beginner or an expert.

Thats called perfection

Amazing app. I have tried several others to log my workout at gym and none were as user friendly and complete as this one. The app feels very natural to work with. I have two wishes: 1- Apple Watch support 2- Ability to add notes to each exercise (a reminder for next time you go through the routine)

The best out of all workout trackers

Ive tried all the popular free and paid apps on the appstore and this has been the best for the past year for me. Its so easy to change sets or reps on the fly. Unlike other apps, you can preset your reps per set and just click the check box once complete instead of messing around with typing numbers or choosing weights etc. Support has been the best since the Dev is regularly active on Twitter.

Great Workout App - lots of flexibility

I am a new user of the app but have already made it my goto app for my sets and reps. Great flexibility with the power to add and create my own workouts! The developer is also very responsive to questions which is a bit of a rarity these days. Great work!

There are some disturbances

1. Often, the timer sound fails to play. Especially when the app in the background. 2. Please, clear local notification. Its not difficult 3. Let us change the timer sound! 4. Add a workout duaration timer to see how long you are already in the gym

Great App (advancing each update)

Im an intermediate body builder, and this app is crucial to my progress. I previously used Fitness Buddy for over a year, which is good but they havent updated anything needed. Your app is far more intuitive, user friendly and is far easier to check off sets in the midst of a workout. Excellent app that any gym regulate would fall in love with after just one use in their workout. The best part is the team truly listens to your suggestions and incorporates them into the updates, when possible.

Great app with a few bugs

I bought this app because I was tired of carrying paper and pencil to the gym and needed a better way to keep track of my workouts. This app is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. It lets me create customized workouts and keep track of my progress. Pretty simple, but very useful. I have been using this app for about a month, and I have noticed a couple of bugs. The first one is in the calendar version of my history. I like that I can look at the calendar and it will show a dot on every day I worked out. However, you are supposed to be able to click on the day you worked out and see which workout program you followed. What I have noticed is that if you want to know what you did on Monday, for example, you have to click on Tuesday. The dot is on the right day, but the link is a day off. Not a big deal if you know where to click, but it would be nice if they fixed that. The other bug -- and this one is the big one for me -- is in the Treadmill section. The layout for this section is nice. It lets you choose whether your workout was based on speed, pace, or perceived exertion level, how many minutes you ran, what the incline was, and what treadmill program you used. So if it worked the way it was supposed to, it would be great. However, I am horrible at cardio, so when I run on the treadmill, I only go 3.5 mph. The program defaults to 8.5 mph and even if I change it to 3.5, it wont save that change. I guess that would be ok if I never planned on changing my speed, but I like to think I will improve and be able to go faster, and I want to be able to track that. The way to get around this bug is to enter your speed in kph instead of mph. Kph isnt intuitive for me though, so I dont like entering it that way. I would guess there are other bugs in areas I havent used yet, but these are the ones I know about so far. Overall, despite the bugs, I do think this app is immensely helpful and I would still recommend it. Hopefully they will iron out these problems on the next update.

App with no lbs conversion

All weights are to be entered in kilos! Please put a lbs conversion!

Best tracking app out there!

This is by far the quickest way to track your workouts. Quick and painless program setup including supersets, tri-sets, individual rest timers and more! The new iOS 7 interface is slick and clean as well, and the customer support is top notch too. I had a few questions and they were all answered in a succintly manner. I highly recommend this app.

Its worth the money

Its worth the money but it has some glitches, and I have crashed it. I tried editing an exercise but I cant unless make copy and when I choose the copy and edit thats when it always crashes. I will like when Im in programs when I click edit to be able to arrange not only to delete and star something. In programs had the option to group 2 workouts and name the group for example back and biceps workout group it and name the group Monday or any other day. NEEDS WORK I use it but when the problems are fixed Ill change my rating to 5 stars.

Great App for tracking workouts

Use this app 6 days a week to track all of my lifts. Works great. You can change the settings from kg to lbs. Crashes sometimes but you can always pull it back up where you left off and they actively release updates to fix bugs and add new features.

Simple and Elegant!

Finally! A workout app that gets down to basics! It looks great and does what it needs to do very well. I also love how it turns my data into useful information. Theres definitely room for improvement and the first would definitely be to allow users to select multiple exercises when building a workout THEN add in the sets and reps rather than one at a time. Also, allowing to change the rest timer chime would help too!

Dennis

Ive tried most of the workout logs. This is by far the best Ive come across. Setup is fairly easy. I would like to see the cardio log sync with digifit of fitbit.

Potential to be my workout app!

Good apps require two key elements. First they must offer a desired service or entertainment. Second they must do so in a friendly and inviting way. This app does the latter in spades, with amazing customer service and an interface that is top notch. However the app still needs to add more exercises and a few features. It sounds like v1.8 will bring some of those into play and very soon this app will be at the top of the list!

Excellent

Very good app. I use it to log my Body Beast program. Only suggestions are to add a field to make notes during a workout that would appear next time the exercise is performed. Also would be nice to add a photo when creating a custom exercise.

Best gym log and still improving

This is clean and intuitive. The only gym app I use. Biggest thing would be to have a web interface in addition to the app as entering complicated workouts is cumbersome on the phone/iPad. But at least you can enter super sets, drop sets, pyramids, ladders, etc! I would also like to be able to enter distance-based workouts like 4x400m runs and the like. As of now there are only time- and reps-based exercise options. Great app, cant wait for future updates to address the very few limitations! Thanks for making this!

Best Ive found!

Ive purchased 8-10 of the supposedly best weightlifting tracking apps and this is by far the best Ive found! Thank you for this app!

The best

Ive tried them all, and this app absolutely blows away the competition. I use it every day, and it is everything I need. Truly outstanding! Thank you for such a great app!
